Solution

I'm only up to chapter 14.

To restrict the words GreekDrill generates to only chapter 14 and and below, click Chapters and select Start as the lowest chapter number and End as 14.

I want to practice the vocabulary in only one chapter.

To restrict the words GreekDrill generates to only one chapter, click Chapters and select Start and End as the chapter desired.

Prepositions are difficult.  I want to practice those only.

Under Translate, click Single Words Only and choose Prepositions from the drop-down box at the right.  You can do the same for Pronouns, etc.

And if you only want Prepositions from the chapters you've learned, restrict the chapters GreekDrill will generate words from as above.

I want to practice verbs only.

Under Translate, click Verbs Only.  Similarly, you can practice everything except verbs by clicking Not Verbs.

I'm just trying to learn the vocabulary for verbs; all these different verb forms are confusing.

If you just want to concentrate on learning the roots, click Clear All under Filter Verb Forms.  This will result in only Pres Act Ind selected.  Later you can practice using different tense voice mood combinations.

And as above, you can select the vocabulary used for the flashcards to come from one particular chapter.

I know some verb forms, but only present and future.

Under Filter Verb Forms, click Clear All and select Pres and Fut.  If you know the middle and passive forms, you can select Mid and Pass too.

I don't know participles yet.

To disallow participles, deselect Part under Filter Verb Forms. Similarly, you can uncheck any other mood you don't yet want to practice.

Now I'm practicing participles, but I only want present active participles.

Simply uncheck all under Filter Verb forms except Pres Act Part.

I'm a pastor.  I'm not using any textbook.

You can restrict words by NT frequency by clicking Frequency under Filter Words.

In this way, you can still work in stages.  For example: practice only words occurring 200x or more; then practice only words occurring 100x - 199x.  Then combine what you know by selecting 100x or more, etc.
